V. Statistics
    a. Team Record/Points
    i. A team shall play a total of 26 games, possible of 52 points
    1. Shall play 4 games with each team within its division
    a. 16 games, possible of 32 points
    2. Shall play 2 games with each team in the other division
    a. 10 games, possible of 20 points
    ii. Team record and ranking will be based on total points as follows
    1. 2 points for a win
    2. 1 point for a tie
    3. 0 points for a loss
    4. Standings will be posted within each division to determine GLHL Tournament seeding
    iii. If a tie exists in divisional and/or total points earned at season’s end the following tiebreakers shall be used to determine a winner
    1. Total number of GLHL wins
    2. Head to head competition between the tied teams
    3. Head to head goal differential between the tied teams
    4. Total goal differential against all GLHL teams
    5. Coin flip by the Commissioner
    iv. Game scores must be called or faxed to the Secretary by 12 (noon) on Sunday, with the original (white) score sheet to follow by mail
    v. Team standings and updates shall be sent out weekly by the Secretary/Treasurer/Publicist
    b. Forfeits
    i. If a GLHL game is declared a forfeit, the offended team shall be awarded a 1-0 win and 2 points in the standings
    1. The offending team shall be credited with a loss, and may be subject to other fines and/or penalties as outlined herein
    2. No scoring or assist points will be awarded for a game where a team loans the offending team players to play the scheduled game
    3. If however a team plays with less than 10 players and wins the Game Points will be awarded for the win or tie, along with scoring points and assists
    a. Shorthanded team may be required to pay the $300.00 penalty for not having enough players (requested by the offended team)
    c. Awards
    i. The GLHL shall authorize and pay for the following awards at the seasons end
    1. The Traveling Magnuson Cup
    a. Awarded to the team acquiring the most total GLHL points
    b. Also awarded a replica/plaque to keep permanently and a 4’x8’ banner will be awarded
    c. Caps (30) shall be provided for the Magnuson Cup team members and staff, shall be black in color with GLHL logo and year
    2. Trophies/Clocks for leading scorer(s), best defenseman, and top Goaltenders (based on total team save percentage)
    3. Top 7 teams in league play will advance to the GLHL Tournament plus the host team for tournament
    a. Host team will play at position earned or #8 seed, if not among top 7
    b. These 8 teams will play for the Kohlman’s Cup Championship
